You cant jump off the moon and land on earth because , there is zero gravity in space , so you would float away
When you jump, you exert a force greater than the force of gravity to achieve a net positive upward acceleration - at least until your feet leave the ground and you quit exerting force. The net upward force is Fnet = (force you push off with) - (force of gravity) Because the moon has less mass than the earth, the force of gravity is less. As a result, the force you exert to jump on earth would give a higher net upward acceleration on the moon and allow you jump higher.
The Apollo Lunar Lander can not land on the Earth, as it is designed to land on the Moon where the gravity is only 1/6 as powerful. Also, the Lunar Lander would burn up upon entering the Earth's atmosphere. Unlike the Command Module, it had no thermal protection.
Land where the moon or on earth, if the earth it was the Pacific ocean.
You'll be disappointed when you land cause you'll be right where you started! For an analogy think about being in an airplane going in a straight line at 500mph. If you were standing in the cockpit and jumped up would you end up at the back of the plane? Nope because you're moving at the same rate relative to that of the airplane, therefore you'll end up where you started. The same goes for jumping into the air off the earth. Before you jump you are moving at the same rate the earth is rotating. And barring something (like a wind) opposing your motion you'll land right back in the same place you stated!
Your mass stays the same as if you were on Earth. Your weight will change which is the effect of gravity on your mass. Since the Moon is less dense than the Earth it has a small gravitational pull. This allows you to feel lighter on the Moon. You can jump higher on the Moon and takes longer to fall.
Because you are moving at the same velocity as the Earth.
In Parkour, GRAVITY is a challenge, or an obstacle to be overcome. It would have been easy to wall-run without gravity, and chances of getting hurt is also less.It would have been easy to do an Anti-Gravity KONG VAULT.
No. That is not physically possible. The mass of 1.5 billion people is miniscule compared to the mass of the Earth. Moreover, their push against the earth when they jump up would be counter-balanced by the gravity of the people who jump, along with their force when they land. The net effect would be virtually zero.
Yes. Without the gravity, we wouldn't be able to land on the ground after we jump.
the term for jumping the gun is like hitting it to fast. when you jump the gun you might land on a price too fast that you could have made a better offer on. so i guess the term would to fast have to think you sillly billy that was easy!
It's simple Gravity you see...When you jump on earth the gravity pulls you down however if you jump on the moon there is no gravity meaning you'll just float off and eventually land.
Mud skippers can breath in water and on land. In the water they can swim really fast but on land they skip or jump along the ground. They are only found in salt waters.
Probably not
Because the land would be theirs n would not have a problem with people distroyingthere land.
There are plenty of animals that can't jump- I think you mean to ask what the only mammal is that can't jump; in that case, it would be the elephant.
there would be no water and no land and the earth would not exist anymore
You can release stress in your leg when you can't jump or land properly in various ways. Giving your leg a massage using hot water would be a proper remedy.
