Your body fat can't always be measured by a tape measure. People are different with different bone structures, etc. Someone, for instance can have a ribcage that is really large and add 5 inches to the total in comparison to others of the same height, etc! The best way to know "how fat" you are is to measure the amount of body fat you have in your body. This can be done in 3 major ways.

1) A test done while you are submerged in water. This is rare but the most accurate.

2) A test done with little plier type tools that measure your "pinch" in different places in your body.

3) A pressure sensitive digital reader that gathers the information of your body's density and gives you a fat %.
