how do i fix the rear passenger window of my acura mdx
Acura warranties the lifetime use of seat belts, so go to your local dealer and they will fix for free. A. true: they fixed mine for free
Volvo v70 rear seat can't fold flat
Need to know what is wrong with the bottom of back seat.
A rear seat in a VW car that is stuck up can often be fixed by moving the release while gently rocking the seat back and forth. This will allow the release to disengage and move the seat.
If you mean that it is not coming on (no power) then check the power transistor for the rear air/heat unit. I had to get mine replaced...around $100.00 at the dealer.
It means you have a fault somewhere - Honda's and Acura's are notorious for this problem, and sometimes all it takes to fix it is having the seat belt catch replaced (Seat belt clasps are also wired to the SRS system) Ask the advice of the Honda/Acura Dealer. Ask your Acura dealer if they can fix it under an extended warranty. The first time this light came on, I did not have to pay anything. It turned out to be a seat belt catch problem. The next time it came on two years later, they wanted $129 just to look at it, so I drive with it on.
Take it to a Honda Dealer, they will fix it...no charge! Seat belts are mandatory safety items no sense in doing something if the dealer will do it for free.
I had the issue on my 2008 acura mdx - it was out of warranty. I bought a wiper switch from the acura dealer (it seems its dealer part - not carried by other vendors), opened up the steering column cover and replaced the switch. That fixed the problem. Let me know if you need instructions on how to fix it.
ANY frayed seat belt MUST be replaced. Fraying, cuts, or any other damage can and DOES make a seat belt fail. Think about this for a moment. $30 or so, OR your life..
You really shouldn't try to fix anything that could be wrong with a seat belt. It even says that in your owners manual. It's a seat belt, it is designed to protect you. If there is ever anything wrong with it, you should take it to a certified repair man.
Remove the rear seat, there should be an access cover underneath it
