Seismology - echo patterns of sound waves traveling through the earth.
I don' t know
Geologists use seismic data to study the behavior of seismic waves as they pass through the Earth's layers. By analyzing these waves, they have detected the presence of two distinct layers within the Earth's core: a liquid outer core and a solid inner core. This data supports the theory that the Earth's core is composed of two parts with different physical properties.
Seismology - echo patterns of sound waves traveling through the earth.
Geologists deduce that Earth's core consists of two parts—an outer liquid core and an inner solid core—primarily through the study of seismic waves generated by earthquakes. These waves travel at different speeds and behave differently when passing through solid and liquid materials. The observation that certain seismic waves do not pass through the outer core indicates its liquid state, while the inner core's ability to transmit seismic waves suggests it is solid. Additionally, the composition and behavior of materials under extreme pressure and temperature conditions further support this dual-core model.
Geologists infer that the Earth's core is made of iron based on seismic data that show the core's density and composition. Iron's properties match the density and behavior of the Earth's core as detected through seismic waves. Additionally, experiments under extreme pressure and temperature conditions mimic the core's behavior, supporting the iron composition theory.
Volcanoes allow the molten lava from the outer core to pass through weak spots in the mantle.
Geologists need to know about physics, chemistry, biology and maths.
Because of the difference/wavering in the earths magnetic field due to thwe fact the inner core is largely Iron....
For one, the magnetic field changes continuously; this is not consistent with a permanent magnet.
if you are talking about the earth here is the answer. The earth is made up of many parts. The outside is called the crust the crust is the thinest part of the earth. The crust is made up of the continental crust and the oceanic crust. The oceanic crust is 3.0 grams/cm squared dense. The continental crust is 2.7 grams/cm squared dense. Other parts of the earths interior are the asthensophere "plastic mantle", stiffer mantle, outer core, and the inner core. We know that the outer core is liquid because a waves do not travel through it, and a waves only don't travel through liquid. These are the components that make up the earths interior.

i dont know what kiwi contains but it is a example of the earths layers. the skin would be the crust the pulp would be the mantel and the seeds would be the outer core and the middle part would be the inner core.
