I agree, but as a friend you know that person really well so you have to be good to them and act like you know them in the relationship. Lots of friends date and break up and loose that friendship. But you have to be careful not to make it to where they think being friends with you was just as much of a mistake as dating you. I think that if you want to date a friend then you need to really really really care about that friend or it won't work out for the best. Because if you are in love with your best friend and then you loose that person its going to hurt so much more. But then again, if you know you can't be without that person, it may be best just to stay friends so you don't take the risk. Do what you think is the right thing to do for that person.
