Wristies are fabulous. I like to sit in the garage before going to bed, and it gets very cold. I bought a pair of lightweight knit wrist warmers from a famous "designer" that looked cute, but didn't keep me warm. Then I found Wristies made from PolarTec Fleece. These are the good ones. I have a pair that goes up over my elbows (Opera length) that I use the most. I also have a pair of short Wristies that have little pockets to hold hand heaters, which they also sell. If you ever find yourself outside for extended periods in the cold, you'll appreciate the hand heaters that insert into these convenient short Wristies. They are very comfortable, wash and dry well, and keep my skin from getting sore in the cold. You can also get a lightweight version suitable for wearing under leather gloves, but I haven't tried them yet. The best thing of all is that I can use my fingers to do whatever I want, something you can't do with regular gloves.
