Very, very good!
1/8 amount of the element will reamain. After 1 half-life there is 1/2 left After the 2nd half-life there is 1/2 of 1/2 left which is 1/4 After the 3rd half-life there is 1/2 of 1/4 left which is 1/8
Half of the original sample of a radio isotope remains after a half-life period. After two half-life periods, one-fourth of the radio isotope remains.
A half-life is the time taken for the radioactivity of a material to fall to half its original value. A material can undergo infinite half-lives because each time it falls to half the next half-life falls to half of that half: No half-lives have elapsed when radioactivity is at the original amount; 1/1. 1 half-life is when radioactivity is at 1/2 2 half-lives is when radioactivity is at 1/4. 3 half-lives is when radioactivity is at 1/8. 4 half-lives is when radioactivity is at 1/16. And so on.

In Half-Life 1 The vortigaunts were confused.. Their image of mankind was a man in a strange orange suit running at them with a crowbar... Wouldnt you want to kill them too? Now im Half-Life 2 You Free'd them from the Alien Controllers power by destroying the Nihilanth.. Now several years after the resonance cascade they praise humanity. They do not wish to kill you now :3
The Moddb website is a great for Half-Life 2 modifications.
Half life one is more arcadish and was the first in the series, although Half Life 2 is much better. Truly it is if you want to go by the story line or just play because of the fun If you wanna play for fun go with 2, if you wanna play with a good storyline go with 1 first and then 2
Three times a half-life is equivalent to one and a half full life cycles of a substance. In terms of decay, after three half-lives, only one-eighth of the original amount remains. This is because each half-life reduces the amount by half, so after three halvings (1/2, 1/4, 1/8), the remaining quantity is 1/8 of the initial amount.
Half life is pretty much self explanatory in that after they go through 1 half life half of the radioactive decay remains. 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 = 1/8 = 0.125 = 12.5% or you can divide 100% by 2, 3 times and you'll get 12.5%
The half life of the most important isotope of berkelium - 247Bk - is 1 380 years.
The half-life of penicillin varies depending on the specific type. For example, the half-life of penicillin G is typically around 30 minutes to 1 hour in the body. Penicillin V, another common type, has a slightly longer half-life of around 1 hour to 1.5 hours.
A half-life means half the original matter decays and is gone after that period. Something with a 3 hour half-live will have only 1/2 its amount left after 3 hours. After 6 hours, only 1/4th is left, and after 9 hours, only 1/8th is left. After one half-life, half is gone. Half is left. After another half-life, half of the remaining half is gone, leaving one quarter left. After the third half-life, half of the quarter is gone and half of that quarter remains, which is an eighth of the original.
