A High School diploma. If you have that and are at least 17 years of age and meet the physical and mental requirements to become a Marine then contract a recruiter. After completing boot camp, the Corps will provide you with all the training and skills you will ever require.
That is one of the main concepts of the Marine Corps. Every Officer and every enlisted person (medical and chaplains excepted) is a rifleman. Once they are that, then they may become a specialist in some other area, such as communications or artillery.
There is no easy way to become a Marine. If you want to be a Marine you will do it the same way the thousands of Marines before did it. The hard way.
It Stands for Military Occupational Specialty. In other words, it's your "Job" in the Marine Corps. This defines you and what you do. For example, If you go into 0311 infantry, you have succeeded as a Rifleman.
Marine Biology is hard to find a job in. Many people want to become marine biologist making job opening rare. Don't make this a reason not to go into marine biology if that what you trully want to do.

No, but some of the languages can be difficult to learn. It is a major help if you are multi lingual as a child. And an "A" in High School French or Spanish won't make you a French Linguist or Spanish Linguist with a European posting.
