You don't specify what you are dropping the exhaust on. The majority of the time you simply unbolt it and take it off.
if the t stat isn't opening up at the temp its set to open up at then yes. If your mechanically inclined you could pull the t stat out and put it in a pot of boiling water to see if it opens up if it doesnt open the replace hope this helps a little
no it does not because it just doesnt
A buildup of raw fuel in the exhaust system is then ignited and damages the exhaust muffler or blows a pipe apart.
from the car exhaus or in the car exhaust?.... if u have oil in ur exhaust that's not good..lol from the outside of the exhaus just use degresser doesnt cost much... and if u don't wanna buy that just use fuel
It doesnt. I assume you mean angle, and as the angle increases the frictional force creases as friction is dependant upon the force of the normal. When the angle increase's the force of the normal decreases (because it is a cosine function).
It works just fine. If you have one that is malfunctioning, there are two possibilities: 1...It is mechanically jammed. 2...It has a shorted turn on one of it's windings.
grey exhaust smoke is caused by your engine burning oil during the combustion process. this could be caused by a piston ring that doesnt properly seal, or another leak in your engine.

there is no gasket on the exhaust manifold. i have a 93 escort lx wagon and i have a leak somewhere and i looked at the exhaust diagram at my local napa and it doesnt show a gasket. * Not sure which diagram you were looking at but there is DEFINITELY a gasket... Look up exhaust manifold on any popular car site and you will clearly see one.
it varies on the manifold and engine. if it helps move air it will increase horse power, if it doesnt, torque.
I think I found a reasonably good diagram in the link mentioned below. If it doesnt meet your expectation... my apologies :-) http://www.lobotomi.org/kuvat/wiringdiagram.jpg
