Hey Amy==It's not very hard if you have any mechanical aptitude. First, take off the negative batery cable. Then takeoff the wires to the starter. Then the bolts holding the starter then work it out among the exhaust pipe. GoodluckJoe
Amazingly taking off and putting on the starter on my 91 firebird was the easiest ive had to take off in quite a while. You don't even need a 4-6 inch extension on your ratchet.
The starter on the 3.4L V6 is easy to remove and install, the hardest part is unolting the manifold
Maybe
Yes
if you took the wires off at the battery to change the starter, make sure you put them all back on
That wire is from the starter relay and is responsible for engaging the starter when you turn the key. It connects to the starter solenoid before you put the positive lead back on the starter.
yeah seeing as the only real differences between the two are interior and paneling on the outside the rest of it's the same but why would you want to put a firebird into a camaro should be what you ask yourself
No nothing isn't hard if you put effort to it . You can do anything if you put your mind to it. You have to believe in yourself.
well my starter ingage when i put the the batterie cable on , new starter selonoid, starter, altnator, so whats the problum
yes all 4th generation(1993-2002) firebird parts should fit in other 4th gen firebirds
you can put a blower on nearly any motor
advantages: fast easy neat disadvantages: hard to replace if they fall off sometimes hard to put them together can catch yourself or stuff when you put them together
NO! the Montana is a front wheel drive minivan and the firebird is a rear wheel drive, even if they were both rear wheel drive for some reason, the firebird engine would shred the wimpy minivan trans and it would be just wrong to put a minivan trans in a firebird.
