This requires a good repair manual (Motors, Chilton, Bentley to name some) a lot of tools, and someone whom is experienced and mechanically inclined.
If your asking if it can be done without removing the transmission? NO.
Remove the transmission. Remove the clutch plate and springs. Remove the clutch. Reverse the process to install the new clutch.
On top of the transmission, near the clutch slave cylinder.
How do you replace a slave cylinder on a 1995 dodge neon clutch
How do you replace the safety neutral switch on a 1995 Jeep Cherokee 5-speed transmission and Where is the safety neutral switch located?
You have to remove the transmission from the engine to access the clutch, remove the old, replace with new, and reset (turn) the flywheel. Something most mech. will replace for $300-$500.
I need to replace release bearing in a 1995 Chevy s10 truck and need to know how to disconnect the hydraulic clutch line for the transmission.
You have to split the transmission, maybe even drop it out. There might be some helpful info on www.autozone.com
Just take the transmission off and the clutch will be exposed. Its that simple. Of course you need to remove the clutch cover, if any fingers are bent or broken, then replace the cover. While your at it replace the release bearing and pilot bearing.
pull out the transmission
