To replace the clutch on a 1995 VW Golf, first, safely lift the vehicle and remove the transmission by disconnecting the battery, draining the Transmission Fluid, and unbolting the components connected to the transmission, including the shift linkage and driveshafts. Once the transmission is removed, unbolt the pressure plate and flywheel to access the clutch disc. Replace the old clutch disc with the new one, reassemble the pressure plate and flywheel, then reinstall the transmission and reconnect all components. Finally, refill the transmission fluid and reconnect the battery before testing the clutch operation.
You don't. 1995 VW Golf's and GTI's (4cyl & VR6 models) have a hydraulic clutch which means it will self adjust itself to the driver over time. Hand adjusting isn't possable
VW Golfs have hydrolic clutches that you cannot adjust.
To install a 1995 VW golf starter, remove the motor mount. Disconnect the wiring on the motor step and install the starter.Ê
