Good Question.

To run a farm it is a lot of hard work and commitment. You have to be able to know everything that goes on with the horses. To run a horse showing farm is a lot more work. You have to have good records of what you are doing. Space to ride such as an indoor or outdoor arena. Also paying boarders so you can keep the farm running. I hope this helped.

With younger, untrained horses, it can be very difficult. With older, well trained horses, it can be very easy. To work with horses, you need to understand their thinking, know how to outsmart them, and it is a definite plus to be strong and to have professional help. So to make working with horses easier, you need to know alot about them and be very dedicated. If you do not know about horses, are not dedicated and/or you do not have a profesional to help you learn, working with horses can be nearly impossible.

It can be incredibly difficult if you have no idea what you're doing, or are treating the horses wrong or training them the wrong way creating a badly-behaved, mean and potentially dangerous horse. And this actually doesn't matter if the horse is already well-trained or very green (inexperienced). Knowledge about horse behaviour is crucial when training horses, as well as an ability to see subtle changes in behaviour and actions of a horse in order to know when to reward for good behaviour or punish (or ignore) for bad.

Basically, you need a lot of experience working with horses in order to know how to train them, or even begin to consider training them. You also have to know how to strike a good, positive relationship with the horse, not one that makes them sour to you and/or your training methods. At the same time, though, they have to know you are the leader or Top Horse in order for any training to be successful.

If you want to train a horse but don't know how, seek a reputable professional horse trainer to help you out. You can also attend workshops on horse training in your area.

Why do horses lives in the farm?

Not everyone will have a horse and say it lives on a farm, because you dont have to own a farm to own a horse. A couple of acres for a horse to run around on is ideal, but the reason why most horses live on farms is because there is always plenty of room. It also depends on how big the farm actually is.
