The wheelbearing on a 2000 Chevy Malibu is part of the hub assembly along with the abs sensor these parts cannot be seviced seperatly and must be purchased and installed as one integrated part.removal and replacement are pretty straight forward.suggest u buy a haynes manul which will cover the procedure step by step and should not take more than hour or two
