I don't believe Indian culture has had much of an impact in Australia.
Apart from the Immigration of Indian people to Australia, there has been no shift of religious beliefs, the Indian language is not taught in schools, apart from a brief period in the late 1960's only minimal interest has been shown in Indian clothing, culture or music, there is no Indian music on the Top 40, there are no Indian movies at the theatres, we have not adopted a divisive and discriminatory class system that keeps the lower classes in their low born place for life, we do not breed people beyond our capacity to feed and house them and we do not accept foreign aid whilst nurturing a nuclear weapons programme.

No. India is not in Australia. India is on the continent of Asia, while Australia is the only country on the continent of Australia.
Just about everything that is a part of the normal Australian diet comes from overseas. Bush tucker or the food that the aboriginals eat never caught on in any apreciative way with imigrants to Australia. Pizza and Pasta were brought also biscotti which is a favourite.

The first species of deer to be introduced into Australia was the chital (Indian spotted deer). It came to Australia in the early 1800s, brought by Dr. John Harris, surgeon to the New South Wales Corps, who sought to establish these animals in the farming industry. 400 chital were brought to Australia from Sri Lanka and India, but they did not survive.
