As of June 22, 2013 human remains found by hikers on Mount Olympus in 2010 were positively identified as Daniel Raymond Noe. The 21-year-old Illinois native, who was reported missing in 1978, was originally thought to be a victim of Gacy. Gacy was sentenced to death for 12 of these killings on March 13, 1980 and since that time, crime investigations has changed making the investigations more faster and better. A crime is based on a legal definition prescribed by a governmental entity, such as a state legislature or the US Congress and now DNA could tell us the color of eye and hair of a subject something that in Gacy's time wasnt possible.
Since John Wayne Gacy's time, crime investigations have significantly changed. Advancements in technology, such as DNA analysis, computer forensics, and surveillance systems, have revolutionized the way crimes are investigated. Additionally, law enforcement agencies now collaborate more effectively, using databases and sharing information to solve cases more efficiently. These changes have greatly improved the accuracy and speed of crime investigations.
technology has changed crime scene investigation by giving it a happier edge

How has power changed hands in Afghanistan since the 1990s?
There are a few underlying reasons for the rapid growth of crime labs in the US. Firstly, advances in technology have increased the demand for forensic analysis, pushing the need for more labs. Secondly, the recognition of the importance of forensic evidence in criminal investigations has led to increased funding and support for crime labs. Lastly, there has been a rise in the number of criminal cases being processed, necessitating the expansion of crime lab facilities to meet the growing workload.
It has not changed much.
