Either greatly for someone of deep faith, or not at all for lapsed (non-practising or church going) Catholics.

I myself have been greatly impacted by my Catholic faith, it shapes my morals, values and provides hope for when i die. Being a proper Catholic can impact your life by being persecuted by other people, but this is more than worth it for the sake of God.

By being a Catholic you must love God first, and by loving God you must love all including yourself, but yourself must be put last on your agenda.
