Arctic LupineBiome: Tundra
Climate: The tundra is the coldest and the driest of all the biomes on Earth. There is very little rainfall in the tundra; it rains less than ten inches a year. Winters here are long, and summers are short. It is often windy.
Characteristics that help the plant adapt to the climate:
Survival is a "do or die" experience: those animals that grow hair between their toes keep their feet and toes warmer longer. Those that do not, do not. The Arctic Wolf has adapted by having a shorter snout than their Gray Wolf relatives, the ears are shorter and rounder as well.
Some plants store moisture and survive bitter cold to use that moisture when the air temperature rises.
Some animals hibernate (like Grizzly and Brown bears), while others migrate to better areas for the purpose of foraging (like caribou).
The Polar bear has developed special fur in order to prevent the cold from entering his body. The Polar bear has a sort of migratory existence, though. In the eastern part of Canada (Manitoba), they range onto the frozen surface of Hudson Bay to hunt seals. Then, when Spring arrives, and the ice melts, they swim to the western shoreline and move north, becoming quite the cause celebrefor the inhabitants of Churchill.
Please see the related link for pictures of Polar bears on Ice and a nice article all about the city of Churchill in Manitoba, Canada.
An organism highly adapted to its climate will continue to evolve over millenia as its environment is constantly changing
Poppies have adapted to survive in the winter because they completely die off. Their seeds grow into new plants in the spring.

The process by which individuals that have favorable variations and are better adapted to their environment survive and reproduce more successfully than less well adapted individuals is called natural selection. This is part of Darwin's theory.
Plants are adapted to their environment for growth, reproduction and sustaining life there after. For this there are certain modifications in the structure and function. For example xerophytic plants develop better vasculature and water conservation characterstics.

They are adapted to life in the Arctic because they have thick fur and well developed breasts.
Both tundra and taiga are found in the Arctic.
It doesn't appear that the arctic lupines have a seed that can wait for centuries before they sprout. The arctic lupine is a perennial herb. The seeds of this plant were discovered in ancient lemming burrows dating back to the Pleistocene, which lasted from about 2,588,000 to 11,700 years ago.

Both the Aztecs and Incas were highly skilled at adapting to their respective environments. They utilized advanced agricultural techniques such as terrace farming and irrigation systems to cultivate crops in challenging landscapes. Additionally, they constructed elaborate cities and infrastructure that took advantage of natural resources like waterways and mountains for protection and sustenance.
Arctic hares do not change the environment, they adapt to it.
No, kangaroos cannot paw in an arctic environment.
