The environmental movement is better now for more action and less parties. No joke. The hippies would have been ok except for their drugs and parties that did nothing for what they wanted: Peace on Earth, as part of the environmental movement's aspirations. Some quit university, yet in New Zealand the environmentalists are now at University learning more and more, and being into more action. It's a cleaner movement now, and more effective. The new problems too is what we have to learn about, that before we didn't need to worry about, such as genetic tampering with our foods and other plants, that must be opposed for a number of reasons.

I was told by a very nice friend of mine that the environmentalist movement, globally, has reached the point of no possibility of losing this battle, this peaceful battle of thought, word and deed, in the most harmless ways possible. Environmentallsm, minus drugs and parties is the win, the big win, it's a domino effect and cannot be lost, according to a wise and good Medium.
