In the last decade people in the UK take at least one holiday abroad with their families every two years. This is because people now have the money to afford family trips to faraway countries. People who regularly visit foreign countries learn about other cultures, and in the past century many foods have been brought into the UK from other parts of the world. People who work in the tourism sector, such as people who work in airports or train stations also benefit because more tourists are coming, so that means their jobs are really needed. Tourism is not just visiting other countries but it is also day trips to other cities and towns in your own country.

One way that tourism has changed is because of the improved technology, for example, the invention of airplanes has made it easier for people to travel, furthermore, flights are cheaper and more people are able to afford holidays abroad.
