It depends on which pistol. For example you can get pistols that weigh 300-500 grams, these would be "second chance guns" which would not have a long barrel, could only hold around 5 rounds (bullets) max. The reason for this because they are meant to be concealed in a ankle holster etc. These guns would have bad accuracy at a range more than 10 meters and they would only have a range of around 20 meters max. However you can get pistols that can weigh around 2 kilos for example the "Desert Eagle" loads of different models all of which very powerful, weighing quite a considerable amount plus you've got to include recoil (the kick back when the gun is fired).
