Operationally during WW2 28,000 feet

I have personal knowledge of a QB-17 drone aircraft and director plane flying missions at Patrick AFB Florida at 41,000 to 42,000 feet. I was the Zman or radio aircraft repairman on these flights which were flown to support testing of the Boeing BOMARK Air Defense Missile
