Rockets are a massive breakthrough in science and are the first machines to be able to bring men in to space. They have massive engines that can go at high speeds to be able to take the rocket through the atmosphere.

Yes, both work by action/reaction. Model rockets are just much smaller, thus have much less fuel, so can't go near as high or as far.
They invented the rocket yes but not anything that went high enough to go into space, these were gun powdered rockets, the kind we use in fireworks displays, Not spacecraft.

The first successful rockets built to go into space were ICBMs: the Soviet Sputnik I & II were launched on military ICBMs, the US Mercury spacecraft were launched on military ICBMs (Redstone & Atlas), the US Gemini spacecraft were launched on military ICBMs (Titan II). IIRC, the Delta & Saturn rockets were the first successful rockets built to go into space that didn't begin as military ICBMs. Although most Deltas are launched from Vandenberg AFB. The European Arian was the first commercial rocket built to go into space.
my answer is air rockets because birds go in there
yes, but by the time they do they will no longer be rockets.
you put fins on the rockets
