It should register at about 4 when it is starting to run hot.
first check your coolant level. then check to see if you have a leak, then check to see if you cooling fans are coming on then check if your thermostat is working.
Bad fans or the sensors that tell the fan when to kick on are bad.
check your relays and fuses. if they are all good, check the fan motor.
take the front motor bone mounts should have 4 bolt per mounttake fans off then remove the trans lines then remove the both hoses

the fans shouldn't come on after it overheats. they should come on just after it reaches optimum running temperature. if it didnt do this, it would never reach the correct running temperature, & continuously run cold, which becomes expensive on gas & hard on your engine. the fans are switched by a temperature switch, usually located around the thermostat housing, this switches the fans on when the engine is getting too hot to run efficient & as the temperature cools, it switches them off again to keep the engine at its correct temperature if your engine is Actually overheating before the fans kick in, then the switch is likely to be either faulty, or incorrect, & switching at a too higher temp.
Yes, when the AC is on both fans should run.
the question how much fans does jersey has is grammatically wrong. It should be ...how many fans does jersey has?
