Sorry, I don't want to starve your hamster. Buy an extra if you can't get help on this, but ask a PetSmart, Pet Co., or wherever you shop for your hamster on advice for this.

It can. You can also check on the Nutrition Facts in the back of the product to see when to remove the food if it is not eaten.

A very long time, but people can't be exact. When hamsters run out of normal food to eat, they eat their wastes, so it takes a long time to starve a hamster.
