that totally depends on what uni and what course- look on uni websites and the courses you want to do, and see what they say, but not all courses need one, you might be better doing something you are good at and getting a better mark, than doing maths and getting a low one
Depends on what standard engineering you're doing. If it's University engineering, consider doing A level maths If it's college engineering, consider doing Gcse/As level maths.
no. it is preferred by universities that you have biology though.
Econamics
Level A maths is the hardest maths you can get. Level B maths is not so hard and level C maths is about the same as primary school maths.
Depends on the subjects that you want to study as well as the University.
The answer depends on why you want to study maths. A level maths is at a significantly higher level that Additional.
Yes.
what is the rational of maths science in ECD level
you need to do a lot of maths with engineering, but it's applied maths most of the time, stuff like mechanics. To do engineering at university you'll almost certainly have to have a maths a-level. So as long as your fairly good at maths, you don't have to enjoy it as there is other stuff involved with engineering, but you do have to be quite good at maths!
Sheffield is generally better - it is part of the Russell group. Sheffield is set in a nice, green city, whereas Portsmouth is a bit rough. Sheffield also has quite high entry standards, with some subjects asking for an A at A Level of the subject you want to study, but I know somebody who got into Portsmouth to study maths with CCD at A Level. His D grade was in maths. This just shows how poor the university standards are at Portsmouth. Sheffield asks for ABC with an A in maths. This is the university where I am applying to.
Math it is an A level you do that before doing further maths
all universities ask for different things- look on the sie of the uni you want and see what they say.
