One possible reason may have something to do with the fact that Jupiter is more than five times
as far from the sun as the earth is.
There are other reasons, related to the processes taking place in the core of each planet.
Well simply because Mercury is much closer to the sun than Jupiter. Mercury is the closest planet to the sun and it can get so hot that people couldn't live there with out the right ecuptement.
Core of Jupiter: 36,000 C
Core of Earth: 3,000-5,000 C
Temperature on Earth: -200 - 120 F
Temperature on Jupiter: -166 - 126 F
jupiter's temperature is way colder than earth.
The Earth travels round the sun faster than Jupiter because it is closer to the sun and so has less distance to travel.
ano kaba naman di mo pa alam. ang sagot lang naman diyan eh. ano nga ba? di ko rin alam eii </3 awww.

Jupiters volume is 1.43128×10 to the 15 cubic km or around 1321.3 Earths
Jupiter's diameter = 11.21 x Earths (142,984km). That does not sound much, but we are just talking about one dimension here. If the volumes are compared, the size difference in the one dimension is cubed, giving Jupiters volume around 1400 times the volume of earth (actually nearer to 1320 time Earths volume due to Jupiter being a `squashed sphere`).

The warmest places on Mars are about the same temperature as the coldest places on Earth.
Jupiter is small.
Jupiters density is around 1.33 g/cc on average, less dense than Earth and the other inner planets, but much more massive overall. Diameter of Jupiter (at the equator) is around 88,847 miles (compared to 7926 miles for the earth). Jupiters circumference at the equator is around 449,202 miles (compared with 40,075 miles for the earth). Jupiters volume is 1321 times that of Earths.
