Neptune's environment is different from Earth's because Neptune is the 8th planet from the sun, unlike Earth which is the 3rd planet from the sun. Thus making Neptune much colder and much darker. This changes the environment a lot. Also Neptune and Earth have kind of the same in environment because Neptune is covered in water and ice, although mostly water, just like Earth.
