It's a memoir or a diary.
Memoir writers select certain events that stand out in their memories.
The discursive memoir is usually one that discusses topics and events in a non-linear fashion. Frequently, the discussion jumps from topic to topic or thought to thought, instead of marching through events in a sequenced manner from beginning to end.
Not all words have antonyms, and there is no clear choice for the word memoir. Either you record your memories or you don't. The opposite of a memoir is not having a memoir. I might say that since memoirs are supposed to be factual records of events, the opposite would be a work of fiction, but that's stretching.
A memoir is a historical account or bibliography written from personal knowledge or experience or special sources. A victim memoir is the same except the the memoir would be about a victim of some sort.

One way to begin the process of writing a memoir is to brainstorm a list of the events that you want to include. If you have kept a journal or diary, this would be an excellent resource to use. When it comes to writing the memoir, a good starting point would be any event that either has great significance in your life, that is unique and interesting, or that is involving a memorable secondary character.
