The Time Bomb is a subclass of a logic bomb which were designed by programmers who get fired in an act of spite or a cheap shot to get rehired since they can 'trigger' the bomb to go off (which is why it's called a time bomb). A Logic bomb is a like a back door which allows hackers to implant viruses which either preven a system from accessing the main Operating system or expose low security areas.

∙ 12y agoa time bomb explodes after a specific time or timer and there is nothing to stop it unless you defuse it. a logic bomb is more commonly used in a computer virus, it is a bomb that explodes or infects when a certain condition is reached. ex: a high enough pressure around the bomb or a high enough heat; when the computer's system clock reaches a specific time or when a specific program runes.
Edit: A "logic bomb" is tech slang for a malicious computer program designed to deliver it's payload at some time in the future, e.g., erase or corrupt data.
