How many atoms does water make up?

There are three atoms in a molecule of water. One oxygen atom and 2 hydrogen atoms. The simplified form for the molecule of water is H2O which is a coded form for the 2 hydrogen and 1 oxygen atoms that make up the molecule.

What kind of atoms are in a molecule of hydrogen?

A hydrogen molecule consists of two hydrogen atoms.

How many atoms are there in a molecule of hydrogen?

A molecule of hydrogen, also known as molecular hydrogen, is composed of two atoms of hydrogen. This diatomic molecule is represented by the chemical formula H₂, indicating the two hydrogen atoms are bonded together.

How many hydrogen atoms makes up a hydrogen molecule?

There are two atoms of Hydrogen in the molecule.

What is hydrogen atom and hydrogen molecule?

Two atoms of hydrogen form a hydrogen molecule. They are bonded with a covalent bond.

What holds two atoms in a hydrogen molecule?

The two hydrogen atoms in a hydrogen molecule are held together by a covalent bond.

What does the 2 in h2 for hydrogen stand for?

It means that two hydrogen atoms combine to form one hydrogen molecule.

Will hydrogen form a covalent bond?

Hydrogen, H2, is a diatomic molecule of two single covalently bonded atoms.

When two or more atoms chemically join they form?

Molecules are combinations of two or more atoms.

What atoms are in a hydrogen molecule?

Molecular hydrogen has two atoms, both which are of the same element - hydrogen.

In what form do elements such as hydrogen normally occur?

Hydrogen is formed as molecule containing two atoms, just as nitrogen, and oxygen.

What particle is formed when two or more atoms bond together?

When two or more atoms combine they form a molecule, which is eclectically neutral and is held together by very strong covalent chemical bonds. An example of a molecule is H2O, which is two Hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.
