this might be wrong but from my understanding, i think because the syrup is thicker then suspension and the dispersed particles will be more immobile so the sedimentation would be slow resulting in more stable and accurate dosage form. you might want to double check this cus im only 1st year undergraduate, i could be wrong or not precise. hope that help though.
It is a solution.
what is the differences between paracetamol syrup and suspension? Is there any benefit in choosing suspension formulation?
Maple syrup is a solution.
You do not have syrup of chloramphenicol, of ofloxacin, of cefixime, of amoxicillin, of cotrimoxazole. They all are in suspension form.
suspension is better because even if it tastes nasty it can always be flavored and syrup cant and some times have a bitter taste
Filtered maple syrup is a solution.
Syrup is a homogeneous mixture: it is made of several compounds (water, sugars, flavorings) and is of a uniform composition throughout. If the syrup contained particles or solids (like the peanuts in chunky peanut butter) or if it separated itself into layers (the way oil and water does), it would no longer be homogeneous; it would be heterogeneous.
syrup is a pharmaceutical solution that completely dissolves into its solvent, with the distribution of drugs within the solution being even, a suspension is drug mixture whereby the drug particles do not fully dissolve into the solvent.
powdered juice,powdered milk,syrup medicine
No, a syrup is a homogeneous solution. It is called a syrup as opposed to a solution if it contains sugar.
An element is an element and can not, in anyway, be separated.
syrup is a concentrated mixture of sugar and purified water.Suspensions are mixtures of fine particles of an undissolved solid distributed through gas, liquid, or solid. Most suspensions are solids dispersed in liquids.
