∙ 14y agoDepends on which weasels your referring to, but some fur bearing animals shed twice yearly. In the fall they will shed the summer coat in order to grow a thicker coat of fur suited for winter. In the spring, they will shed fur in order to grow fur suited for warmer climates

They prey on other small animals in the winter that are scavenging for food. They are quick and agile so that they can catch their prey. They also have claws that grip trees so they can access escaping squirrels.
