An oil change on a VW Vehicle is as easy as any other vehicle. First, jack the vehicle up on a proper stand. Place a proper container underneath, and unbolt the oil pan. This will drain out the oil from the engine. After draining it completely, bolt back on the oil pan (don't forget the gasket!) Finally, change the oil filter using an oil filter wrench (they are made specially for this purpose, but sometimes a person can work it loose with a bit of elbow grease and a rag). Note the amount of miles the vehicle has, and schedule the next oil change accordingly
