I do not know all of the flavors, but my favorite flavor of gum is by the Wrigly Company, the brand is "5" and the flavors name is Elixir,it tastes just like berries! The actual description of taste is a mouthwatering berry. I have not purchased it lately and other people say that it does not exist anymore,so you should check and see. If you look for reviews everybody says that it is gross and you should not buy it is a very reasonable price and for someone who is actually tasted it, I believe it is the best company, brand, and flavor of gum that you could buy.If you are wondering why I have not bought the gum in a while is because I have braces. I have had them for a whole year and they have to stay on for another full year. Please reply if I answered your question and if you like this gum.(If you have even tried it).
Well, depending on the flavor mint or fruity, the enzymes, flavorobase, in your saliva bond with the substrate of the flavors of the gum, flavorobose and the chemical reaction yields a product of glucose and acetocolenesterase. These enzymes extract the sugars and flavors in the gum and once the flavorobose is depleted the gum loses its flavor and its rubbery properties arise. This state of the gum is due to the lack of polysaccharides which were present in the sugars that were broken down from the enzymes.
Chewing Gum is flavoured by artificial flavourings and coloured by artificial colours. That is how you gain weight from chewing it.
There is a type of flavoring oil in the gum that makes the gum taste so good.
The gum changes flavor due to microscopic beads of flavor. When the original flavor wears off, the beads disintegrate into powder from saliva, which is the new flavor

That depends on the gum;]
because you suck the flavour out of the gum
If I'm not mistaken, the first gum to advertise its use of "flavor crystals" was Cinnaburst.
Yes, because of the sugar. It tastes better at first, but eats the flavor. Basically, Sugar sucks up the flavor.
the gum with more sugar has the longest lasting flavor.
Yes, the Salava from ur mouth mixes with the sugar gum and makes the gum flavor longer.
