I myself have hydrocephalaus due to an arachnoid cyst on my pituitary gland(located in your brain) There are a couple of different ways to treat it. One way is to insert a device called a shunt it is a long tube that is inserted in you brain and the other end goes to your styomach and the excess fluid is drained from you head to your stomach. I have 2 vp shunts, there are a few problems with them they can clog or break in which case you would need a revision or a new shunt. An alternative treatment for obstructive hydrocephalus in selected patients is the endoscopic third ventriculostomy (ETV), whereby a surgically created opening in the floor of the third ventricle allows the CSF to flow directly to the basal cisterns, thereby shortcutting any obstruction, as in aqueductal stenosis. This may or may not be appropriate based on individual anatomy I hope this helps Sincerely Kevin

Hammer toe is an irregularity that causes the toe to be bent awkwardly at the second joint. This is a very painful issue that can be treated surgically or non surgically. Instead of doing random searches, it is probably best to see a podiatrist and get detailed information about the deformity and treatments that are best for you, your financial situation, and overall health.

HPV infection in newborns is treated by surgically removing the warts. If the warts obstruct breathing passages, frequent laser surgery is required. Interferon may be used to reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
If detected early, hammertoe can be treated non-surgically. If surgery becomes necessary, surgical risks are minimal with the overall outcome providing good results
Yes. If they are treated surgically, careful attention must be given to prevent infection. People with lupus are usually on immunosuppressive medications and can get infections more easily than healthy people. Steroids can slow the healing process.
