To hlighlight your hair using a highlighting cap, which normally comes in a set along with hair dye, you pull the cap over your head and then you use the hook to pull out strands of hair through the small holes in the cap. Once you have pulled all of the strands of hair through you mix up the hair dye and apply it over the cap, using the brush provided. Once you have applied the hair dye, leave it for the recommended time then remove the cap, and rinse the hair dye out of your hair.
