Generally Two types.Specular: Smooth surfaces direct reflected light at opposite angle. A mirror is a good example of specular reflection.Diffused: Rough surfaces scatter light in all directions. So when several reflective surfaces are layerd most of the light is reflected. If it is illuminated by white light then white light will be reflected.
