As national and local economies become more globalized, many rural areas are going to find it more difficult to compete for private capital investments. A traditional tool, modifications to tax policy, of state and local governments will not be as effective (for many communities it has never been effective) in the future. These communities will need to seek other avenues of growth. However, for many rural communities even alternative avenues will not lead to enhanced economic opportunity.
There are different kind of population determiners.
There's density dependent:
Which means it depends on population's size, for example, if there is limited food, its not enough for every organism but enough for some, the population is too big.
Some examples are: Food and water.
There's density independent:
Which means it does NOT depend on population size, for example if there is a flood, no matter how many organisms, most will still die. Another example is a forest fire, no mater how many organisms, most will die.
Some examples are: Weather, Plague, Poison.
Hope this helped =)
Migration effects the census of a particular area. Usually in towns and cities, where job opportunities are more and more facilities are present, there is a increase in population due to migration. Whereas in villages, where there are minimum facilities and less job opportunities, there is a decrease in the population.
the elements of population change are fertility, mortality, and migration.
The Great Migration during the early 20th century was the single most important factor in the growth of the African-American population in Harlem. This period saw a large influx of African Americans moving from the rural South to urban cities like New York in search of better economic opportunities and to escape racial segregation and violence.
The Great Migration
The term determinant is both noun and adjective. In case it is a noun, determinant means a factor that decisively affects the nature or outcome of something. If it is an adjective, determinant means serving to determine or decide something.
The bacteria population has an exponential growth with a factor of 16 per hour. The growth factor has to be determined for the population change each half hour.
terrain, waterbodies, transport channel, accessibility factor, space requirement, agglomeration factor.
absolutely, IQ is not a total determinant factor on how smart you are.
migration. lols..nova net!
False
The density dependent factor refers to the factors that affect the size or growth of a given population density. The factors also affect the mortality rate and the Birth Rate of a population. Some of the density dependent factors are disease, parasitism, availability of food and migration.
More predators so the population would decrease :(
Strong fortified settlements!
