Does the engine run poorly and miss? - Blown Head Gasket Does white smoke billow out the tailpipe? - Blown Head Gasket Otherwise it's likely a hose, or another gasket that's leaking. Take it to a mechanic if you can't diagnose it further. Check the radiator for leaks and check the water pump. If coolant is pouring out of the weep holes while running or when you squeeze the hose going to the pump. Then the water pump needs to be replaced.
bad water pump or thermostat. check both.
water temperature sensor located near steering colum..
Possibly ruptured heater core. if you are losing coolant-check it out.
There are several things that can cause your Ford Fiesta 1.4 liter engine to lose coolant. The most common cause is a defective water hose.
pluged cooling fins in and on the radiador
you will lose coolant quickly and ur car will heat up sooner or later
Low coolant? Heater control cable not adjusted properly? Bad thermostat? Heater core "airbound"? Water pump not circulating coolant?
you prob need to have your coolant checked out because when you work your engine the coolant is what keeps it at a good level so you should have the mixture of coolant to water checked out it should be 50/50
There could be several reasons. Under normal operation, the vehicle will experience this as the coolant heats up and expands into the over flow. A bad water pump, low level of coolant, as well as a clogged radiator could also cause this problem.
I would say that you are losing coolant somewhere hoses, water pump, radiator.
This sounds like bad news. The coolant could be leaking into your engine and mixing with the engine oil, then cooking off. A simple test can tell if there's water in your oil.
The coolant level (in the radiator)needs to be BELOW the bottom of the water pump in order to remove the pump without losing the antifreeze. Since the water pump is almost at the bottom of the rad, you may as well drain it all since it only takes a few minutes to do, and you won't risk losing it all.
