How is noise pollution affecting the environment?

Causes of environmental pollution?
There are many causes of environmental pollution. Contaminates released into the water evaporate and are spread through rain. Carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide, and other gases are released into the air causing pollution. Noise pollution, light pollution, visual pollution, and thermal pollution are other types of pollution that are affecting the environment.

Why noise pollution increased?
As humans create more machines, the noise pollution increases. Some machines that create noise pollution are: cars, radios (loud music), motor boats, airplanes, etc. These machines create an irregular noise that the environment and animals are not used to and some species of animals have gone extinct because of noise pollution.
How do you describe noise pollution?
Noise pollution is a type of energy pollution in which distracting, irritating, or damaging sounds are freely audible. As with other forms of energy pollution (such as heat and lightpollution), noise pollution contaminants are not physical particles, but rather waves that interfere with naturally-occurring waves of a similar type in the same environment.
