Many edible plant and animal oils and fats are used in cooking and food preparation. In particular, many foods are fried in oil much hotter than boiling water. Oils are also used for flavoring and for modifying the texture of some foods e.g. stir fry.
Almost all oils burn in aerosol form generating heat, which can be used directly, or converted into other forms of fuels by various means. The oil that is pumped from the ground is then shipped via oil tanker to an oil refinery.
Crude oil can be processed into petroleum; 'petrochemicals' are chemical products made from raw materials of petroleum or other hydrocarbon origin. They are used in products such as detergents, fertilizers, medicines, paints, plastics, synthetic fibres, and synthetic rubber.

I had this as a vocabulary word in my Environmental Science class. Natural Resource: any natural material used by humans. Ex: oil
Maize is corn; it is used as food for humans and animals, it can also be used to make biofuels, and other chemicals. It can also be used to make corn oil.
43% of the oil pollution taht happens is caused by humans.
people use oil every day for a lot of things!
The short answer is a qualified yes. There are tea-tree oil shampoos made for humans, which are designed to be used frequently (daily if needed). The pet products tend to be high concentrations of a lower grade oil. Higher concentrations because the shampoo has to work through a thick pelt and tends not to be used daily. And a lower grade oil as there are fewer restriction on what can and can not be used in pet care.
Fish provide food and income for people. Fish oil is also used for vitamin supplements.
