Racism is the slander or the demeaning of other ethnic groups.

Prejudice is when people pass judgment with out prior knowledge. For instance if you were to say that this person you've seen around is wierd or doesn't fit in with YOUR definition of normal before getting to know this person then this would be an example of prejudice.
