Radiation can come from many sources but all sources that produce radiation do so because of an abundance of energy that they possess. If you want to produce radiation light a candle. The only energy you will need to do this is a lighted match. When you light the candle wick it burns wax from the candle. This wax is stored energy that you have released as radiation in the form of light. I hope this answer is not too trite. gravity guru.
The radiation originates in the atom, usually in the nucleus of the atom as a result of the atom being split.
yes, the sun emits all types of the electromagnetic spectrum including infra red
they do. As you might be aware of, light( radiation wave) is made of electromagnetic wave and its medium is electromagnetic field. So basically the medium of radiation waves is electromagnetic field.
Gamma radiation and x-radiation are identical if they both have the same wave length. The only difference between x-radiation and gamma radiation is that gamma radiation is produced by natural processes while x-radiation is man-made. The block of lead will not be able to tell the difference between the two sources and will attenuate both the same.
Copiers, whether made by the Xerox Corporation or other manufacturers, emit light as they illuminate the original of the item to be copied. All electronic devices, including machines made by Xerox Corporation, emit low frequency electromagnetic fields. These are not hazardous to the operator, although they are radiation. Other types of radiation are not emitted.
diagnostic radiation
Beta radiation is made from electrons (or positrons for inverse beta radiation). Alpha radiation is a helium nucleus, and gamma radiation is a high energy electromagnetic ray.
Nuclear Radiation
Neither. Radiation is energy, and not made of matter.
Gamma radiation is a type of nuclear radiation made of high energy waves.
Electrons or positrons.
Radiation initially.
It dosent, it depends what type of radiation it is and what the material is made of.
It's because radiation is 'made' to spread.
Not everything: electromagnetic radiation, beta radiation, gamma radiation, particle beams etc. are not formed from elements.
it made it greener with radiation...
Zeolite can remove radiation from any kind of food, as long as it gets inside the food. The Russians used Zeolite inside of their cookies to remove radiation and any other chemicals that might have made it into the food. It would probably take longer for the Zeolite to gather the radiation from ready made food, but what I've read, Zeolite can attract radiation, so it wouldn't matter if it was being used inside ready food or when you are making it. As long as you give the Zeolite time to attract the radiation (about 10 or 15 minutes) then you should be radiation free!
