How is the arctic Canada eco friendly?

By having a low population density.

The #1 threat to the eco is people. It does not matter how 7.1 Billion people live, it is too many. There is no eco lifestyle that enables us to have 7.1 Billion people on this planet.

But if the rest of the world lived as Canada does there would be less than a billion people and that is sustainable provided they live by the same standards as Canadians. That means monitoring the plants and animals, cleaning up after industrial activity and, like Canada, do not emit more carbon than your country can naturally sink.
