Electromagnetic spectrum is the range of wavellengths of different radiations reflected or emitted by objects with temperature above 0 k. Remote sensing technology make use of such radiations of certain wavelength in EM spectrum to distinguish different objects as different object radiates differently.

The electromagnetic spectrum consists of Radiowaves, Microwaves, Infrared, Visible light, Ultraviolet, X-Ray and gamma rays.

X-Rays are used to look inside the human body to check for many different abnomalities. e.g. broken/fractures bones, renal/kidney stones.

Radiographers have now started using gamma rays to help with producing images which can help to diagnose the patient and therefore treat them. Ultraviolet has been used in ultrasound, this helps the field of gynaecology.

Hope this helps!

Yes. Electromagnetic spectrum waves reach your eye through the air.

What does the spectrum in the electromagnetic spectrum do?

I suppose you mean the visible spectrum, only a small part of the entire electromagnetic spectrum. The visible spectrum is basically all of the colors the human eye can detect.

Which best explains the relationship the electromagnetic spectrum and sight?

Visible light and infrared light are the parts of the electromagnetic spectrum that can be seen with the eye.

How is the electromagnetic and visible spectrum related?

The visible spectrum is one band within the full range of electromagnetic radiation.

ultraviolet light

Which part of the electromagnetic spectrum is detectable by human eye?

Gamma rays and visible light.

What is the range of light called?

The visible spectrum is the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that is visible to (can be detected by) the human eye. Electromagnetic radiation in this range of wavelengths is called visible light or simply light.

What matches with radiant heat on the electromagnetic spectrum?

The portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that produces radiant energy is sometimes referred to as electromagnetic waves. It is not visible to the human eye.
