because they both control all the activities
the city hall.
its the control center
All of the orders get sent out from there and that is where all of the decisions concerning the rest of the city are made.
Because the nucleus controls the atom, cell, and so on and so on many things have a nucleus...
its like a town hall because a town hall directs the activities of the town just like the nucleus directs all the activities of a cell
Well, my interpretation of that is that the nucleus is like the brain of the cell, and the president can be considered the brain of the country.
The nucleus "controls" the atom, if you will, and the mayor "controls" the city that he runs.
Hope I helped
That would be a fair analogy
to produce electricity
city center or town hall
A great city/cell analogy for a cell membrane is a toll booth for it decides what is allowed in and out of a cell. If you don't have a toll booth in your town, make it police men on duty for they do the same thing.
A shoe box is one, because it protects the shoes from any damage of the outside world.
This is a classic. Think of the nucleus like the town hall. It houses all the information and important things for the cell. The cell membrane is kind of like border patrol (let's imagine this "city" is in Texas). The mitochondria are like the power plants; they provide ATP/energy for cellular processes. Lysosomes are basically the trash-men. They break down waste material so it doesn't build up in the cell. Vacuoles also hold water, so I guess you could think of them as water towers? Never really came up with a good analogy for that one. Vesicles are like the public transport; they get things into and out of the cells. Continuing on this mindset, just think of the rest of the organelles and apply them to random things in a city.
The nucleus is like a checkout computer. They both control cell activity. The cell membrane is like the librarian. They both control what enters and leaves. The chloroplasts are the books, because they both are the food of the cell... Try to come up with the rest on your own. It's not hard, it just takes a little while.
The nucleus would be like town hall or the mayor's office because the nucleus is the control center of the cell.
my principle is the nucleus
it has a nucleus, the princibals office
it could be analogous to a town hall or a city center, an architect, or a CEO. this is wrong it is the control center
When looking at a diagram of a cell (animal in particular), imagine it is a drawing of a fried egg. The nucleus looks like the 'dippy yolk' as many people call it! Reply: Or when I was in school, my science teacher called it the 'office' of the cell. Because it controls everything in the cell.
city center or town hall
The town hall is like a city hall but for the people who inhabitat the town or city. City hall is government officials. Town is not for government officials.
In a cell city analogy, the nucleus can be compared to the city hall. Just as city hall controls and regulates the activities within the city, the nucleus is the control center of the cell where genetic information is stored and instructions for cell function are coordinated.
A great city/cell analogy for a cell membrane is a toll booth for it decides what is allowed in and out of a cell. If you don't have a toll booth in your town, make it police men on duty for they do the same thing.
The Town Hall was created in 1921.
Leicester Town Hall was created in 1876.
