Actually, I've done quite a bit of research on this.

It has been harmful more than helpful for the most part. And today by far most of Iraqi's are opposed to the war.

They produce less oil, less people in Iraq have running water, less people have jobs, and people in the capital got 16-24 hours of electricity before the war now get 1-2 on average. Millions of Iraqi's have fled (including 40% of Iraq's professionals such as doctors).

The only signifcant improvement was the amount of Iraqi's that are getting post-secondary education.

Iraqi's even voted in favor that security had deteriorated.
