however,
Manga companies in the united states dont make manga. They kind of just distribute manga from foreign countries.
Tokyopop being an exception. It hosts its annual rising stars of manga where aspiring U.S. comic artists enter their own one shot. Still, you can't just "send" your idea for "one" character. It has to be a comic.
