Male gupies grow up 0.5 to 1.5 inches, and female guppies grow up 1.5 to 2.5 inches.
Males 0.5 to 1.5 inches, females 1.5 to 2.5 inches
Very tiny. Most of the time you'll have to stare at the tank for a moment in one spot and let your eyes pick up on their movement before you can pick them out depending on tank size.
A guppy can grow to two and a half inches in length.
baby guppies are around one centimeter
Around 4-6mm.
Usually 6mm long
pesonaly i dont belive in guppies NEMO!
Guppies aren't large enough to eat frogs.
Believe it or not the very common guppies can become frogs!!! First they are guppies, then they become tadpoles, grow legs then you have a frog!
Once the baby guppies mature they can move in with the adults.
No Clown fish are good with guppies although it is possible to keep clown loaches (Botia macrocantha) and Guppies together for a while. Don't forget though that Botias are shoaling fish so they should be kept in groups. They also grow to around 14inches long so need a large tank.
guppies
Guppies will eat neons tetra babies but are not large enough to eat fully grown neons.
They grow only to about 1 to 1.5 inches in length.
Females get larger than the males and a large female would be around 2 inches.
Guppies are very adaptable and small in size so a very large tank is not required for them to be happy in. A 20 gallon tank would be enough to keep five guppies in.
Guppies are community fish that should never be kept alone or in bowls they require large tank, at least 10 gallons.
Other fish with guppies it absolutely fine but some fish can get jealous. Well guppies like to show off their tail and sort of brag about it. So the other fish depending how aggressive it is, it may nibble of part of it's tail. And usually it won't grow back the same. Lot's of people wonder if goldfish will eat their guppies. Gold fish could eat guppies if they grow enough. Like if you get a fancy gold fish and it grows big then possibly. The size that goldfish grow depends on how much room they have. Like if a goldfish lived in a 50 gallon tank then it would most likely grow much larger. But if it was in a little bowl it probably won't grow as much. So most likely it won't but anything can happen. So pretty much it depends on what size tank you have. Well anyway you could usually have guppies with other fish. Just so you know Goldfish can't live with guppies because of their different water temperature requirements. Guppies can only live with other Tropical Freshwater Fish.
